Two cartoons by Jean-Claude Forest, author of Barbarella. Even though I don't read French, I enjoyed them -- leave it to a Frenchman to make the Loch-Ness monster a giant mermaid. The coconino-classics site features some old strips by French cartoonists as well as other "forgotten masters" like George Herriman. The parent site apparently rotates features of current French cartoonists.

I love this Blecky Yuckerella comic strip. This Johnny R guy certainly hasn't lost his adolescent sense of humor.
